The project ¨InverClima¨ aims to sensitise and equip the main actors of the financial and public sector of Peru with tools that will allow them to identify climate-related risks, evaluate opportunities for investment with a low carbon economy and climate resilient approach that will contribute to the fulfilment of NCD of Peru. It includes an update of the Green Finance Roadmap to integrate TCFD recommendations.

This project seeks to demonstrate utility-led smart charging for electric 3 and 4-wheelers. It will also evaluate the potential savings opportunities from EV demand response management and validate the grid benefits for distribution companies.
The project will then develop recommendations for introducing dynamic EV charging tariffs to incentivise EV charging during lower grid carbon intensity. Finally, it will disseminate learnings and recommendations.

India has launched the Smart Cities Mission which aims to develop 100 smart cities. This project aims to overcome the projected significant institutional capacity gaps in a future where EVs are expected to be an important component of smart cities.
With support from the Kakinada Smart City Corporation, the project aims to develop a comprehensive institutional capacity and skills development program for electric mobility with a focus on public transport – and testing in Kakinada Smart City.
