Transitioning to climate smart and deforestation free agriculture in Santa Cruz, Bolivia

The project seeks to promote sustainable agricultural production systems in Santa Cruz by fostering the adoption of Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) practices and deforestation-free strategies, with a focus on both commercial and small-scale farmers, as well as Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLCs).

Expected results

  • Develop and implement protocols for public private alliances around climate smart agriculture (CSA), Climate change and deforestation impacts assessed, design and deployment of a digital platform for CSA reporting and knowledge sharing.
