Thank you for your interest in our upcoming Call for Proposals in the Climate Policy and Governance sector in Brazil, due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to delay the launch of this opportunity. Any further updates related to this Call for Proposals will be communicated via the Brazil-UK PACT Country Fund web page.

Watch our webinar to learn more about the Brazil-UK PACT (Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions) Fund and our upcoming Call for Proposals in Climate Policy and Governance. This session will highlight a new opportunity for impactful action working in partnership with the Ministry of Environment (MMA – Ministério do Meio Ambiente e Mudanças Climáticas). It will focus on opportunities to support and deepen the existing Brazil-UK partnership in accelerating the country's transition to a low-carbon, climate resilient, and inclusive future. Please note that the event will be held in Portuguese.

Who is this event for?

We invite all organisations to register, especially those with relevant experience delivering projects related to federative climate governance and capacity strengthening for climate action at subnational levels. This could be both local or international NGOs, think-tanks, consultancies, academic institutions, professional associations, or any organisations that have the knowledge, skills and experience to deliver the expected project. Private sector entities and UN agencies are welcomed, and consortiums of two or more organizations are also encouraged to participate.

What will we be funding?

We are looking to fund one initiative that strengthens federative climate governance and enhance the implementation of Brazil’s Climate Plan. The initiative should contribute to the strategic alignment of the Climate Plan’s priorities (implementation of NDC commitments) with the climate-related plans, programmes, and instruments of states, the Federal District, and municipalities.
