This webinar will focus on the themes and timelines in preparation for the second Colombia UK PACT call for proposals planned for July 2020.
Organisations who are able to deliver technical assistance projects that will build capacity in the thematic areas outlined below are invited to attend our market engagement webinar so they can find out more about how to apply.
We will be looking for proposals in the following areas:
Within these four sectors we also encourage proposals that address the following cross-cutting themes: strengthening measurement, reporting and validation (MRV) systems; leveraging and structuring finance for green projects; and supporting behaviour change to enhance impact. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the socio-economic impact it is having in Colombia, we also welcome innovative projects that respond to this situation across the above themes.
Projects will chosen through an open call to prospective applicants following two stages: 1) Expression of Interest (EOI) to outline how a proposed project responds to the call; and 2) a request for detailed proposals for those shortlisted at the EOI stage.
UK PACT (Partnering for Accelerated Climate Transitions) is a unique capacity-building programme. Jointly governed and funded by the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) through the UK's International Climate Finance, it works in partnership with countries with high emissions reduction potential to support them to implement and increase their ambitions for tackling climate change.
