We are looking to award grant funding for projects that will provide support to the Government of Indonesia to accelerate action and refine policies in energy efficiency.
We have consulted with the Indonesian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) and have identified several priority areas that align with UK PACT objectives. These will be outlined during the event.
Projects will be selected through a one-stage open and competitive call. Successful projects will receive grants ranging from £200,000 to £500,000 per year per project for up to 3 years.
UK PACT is funded by the UK Government’s Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) as part of the UK’s International Climate Finance (ICF) portfolio. The programme works in partnership with ODA-eligible countries with high emissions reduction potential to support them to implement and increase their ambitions for Green House Gas (GHG) reductions in line with their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and the long-term goal of the 2015 Paris Agreement to limit dangerous climate change. In Indonesia, UK PACT will work to strengthen existing UK-Indonesia climate efforts, as well as explore new areas for low-carbon development and clean growth.
