Join our webinar to find out how you can apply for funding for the green finance and carbon markets Call for Proposals, within the Thailand UK PACT (Partnering for Accelerating Climate Transitions) fund.

Who is this event for?

We invite all organisations with relevant experience in delivering technical assistance and capacity-building projects in the green finance and carbon markets sector to register. This could be both international and local think-tanks, consultancies, academic institutions, NGOs, professional associations, or any similar organisations that have the knowledge, skills and experience to deliver an eligible project.

Proposals from private sector entities are welcomed.

What will we be funding?

We are looking to award grant funding for projects that enhance green finance, carbon pricing and disclosures in Thailand, with the primary aim of reducing carbon emissions. These projects should be in line with government strategies and policies, provide benefits to the private sector and the wider public, and contribute synergistically to development and implementation of climate-related policies and strategies. The overarching goal is to mitigate carbon emissions and contribute positively to scaling financing and investment into green and transition activities.

To be eligible for funding, all proposals must respond fully to one of the specific intervention areas below:

  1. Theme 1 – Green and Transition Finance with interventions on taxonomy, sovereign and sub-sovereign thematic bonds and transition finance;
  2. Theme 2 – Carbon Pricing with interventions on carbon tax, mandatory ETS scheme and CBAM impact mitigation;
  3. Theme 3 – Non-Financial Reporting and Disclosures with interventions on strengthening readiness to adopt and report in line with ISSB sustainability and climate-related disclosure standards.
