Who is this event for?

Organisations who have relevant experience in delivering technical assistance and capacity building projects in the carbon pricing sector are invited to attend our market engagement webinar to find out more about how to apply.

Carbon pricing – call for proposals

We are looking to award grant funding for projects that will provide technical assistance and capacity building for key policy makers to formulate a cross-sectoral set of carbon pricing and market policies, as well as their implementation plans.

We have consulted with the Indonesian Co-ordinating Ministry of Maritime and Investment Affairs (CMMIA) as well as the Ministry of Finance’s Fiscal Policy Agency (BKF) and have identified several priority areas that align with UK PACT objectives. These will be outlined during the event.

Projects will be selected through a one-stage open and competitive call. Successful projects will receive grants of up to £900,000 per year for 3 years.

About UK PACT

UK PACT is funded by the UK Government’s Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) as part of the UK’s International Climate Finance (ICF) portfolio. The programme works in partnership with ODA-eligible countries with high emissions reduction potential to support them to implement and increase their ambitions for Green House Gas (GHG) reductions in line with their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and the long-term goal of the 2015 Paris Agreement to limit dangerous climate change. In Indonesia, UK PACT will work to strengthen existing UK-Indonesia climate efforts, as well as explore new areas for low-carbon development and clean growth.
