Enhancing the skills and capability of the Bank of Thailand to conduct climate stress testing.

This skill-share supported BoT to develop their knowledge on climate scenario analysis and stress testing, and engage related stakeholders to drive forward climate stress testing for commercial banks. The skill-share consisted of four workshops tailored to respond to the requests of the BoT encompassing the following themes: scenario analysis and stress testing; economic impact assessments / transmission channels, and financial impact assessments. The sessions developed the BoT’s understanding of the overall process of the climate scenario analysis as well as other qualitative tools or frameworks that are available.
